Route 1 Milling and Resurfacing (May 13 - June 4, 2026)

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced milling and resurfacing work on Route 1 in Westport. The milling portion was scheduled to begin the night of Sunday, May 10, 2026, continuing for approximately three nights through Wednesday, May 13 morning. The paving portion began the night of Sunday, May 31, 2026, continuing for approximately four nights through Thursday, June 4 morning. All work hours were 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on each night of work. Adjustments to the schedule were expected due to inclement weather.
