Route 57 Milling and Resurfacing Project

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will mill and resurface Route 57 (Weston Road) from Easton Road (Route 136) to just south of the Weston town line, beginning late September 2026, with expected completion by October 9, weather permitting. Although this section was resurfaced in June, the top layer of asphalt is being replaced due to an issue with the paving material. The milling portion is scheduled to begin Sunday night and continue for approximately 3 nights. The paving portion is scheduled for the night of Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and continue for approximately 3 nights. Work hours are 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. for each night. Adjustments to the schedule are possible due to inclement weather.
